Do you do ______________ moves?
If you have something too big to move yourself, we're here to help!
Lifting and/or Moving of your
We also straighten barns, pole sheds, and other old or damaged buildings.
Does it seem impossible? Give us a call or email! We will give you a free estimate on your project.
Where/how far do you move buildings?
We move buildings across the state of Minnesota, however, we are centrally located in Paynesville and our focus is on central Minnesota moves.
How much will my project cost?
We are happy to give estimates and can usually give you a rough idea over the phone or email. To get an estimate in writing, we prefer to see the project firsthand because of all of the many variables that may affect our costs. Estimates are free and we can help you do a cost-benefit analysis of your project. Our goal is always to make sure we have satisfied customers, and much of our business continues to be on a referral basis.
Do you offer financing?
No and we do not accept credit cards. Because our aim is on delivering a great move experience, we leave financing details to lending agencies that can offer accommodating rates and terms. We are happy to work with your lender as needed.
Do you get my permits for me?
While we ensure that every move has all necessary moving permits from state and local sources, as well as arrange necessary escorts with law enforcement, site permits are the clients' responsibility. They can be obtained from your local municipality -- city/township/county -- and usually only apply to the destination site. These are important to obtain early on in the planning process to avoid conflicts with local codes.
Do you do foundation work? How about plumbing/electrical/HVAC/etc?
Our focus is to move your building safely and efficiently from one site to another. We often work with other contractors to make sure this process goes as smoothly as possible, but we do not ourselves bid that work. Although we have a contractor employed, we mainly use this knowledge base to assist with your hired contractors; and that is another example of how we go above and beyond the average mover to ensure our clients are satisfied.
Also, because we work often with contractors from all over central Minnesota (and beyond), we would be happy to recommend people in your area to help you finish your project.
I need to clear my building site. Will you buy my cabin or house from me?
We are always interested in buying ramblers with 1,000 square feet or more. We'd be happy to take a look at your project. Email us some pictures and a description, or call to speak with us about it.
I'm looking for a building to move to my site. How does that process work?

When you find something you're interested in, give us a call at 320-243-8295 or send an email to us at [email protected]! We'll gladly help you with the next step.
Come back often! Our inventory changes frequently.
(Contact us if you are looking for something specific, we are often able to help you find what you're looking for. If you're having trouble viewing any of our pictures, we would be happy to e-mail you pictures. We can also send them U.S. post.)
Can't I just move my house myself?
Absolutely! Most people don't have access to the type of equipment that it takes to move a structure (nor the experience necessary to ensure safety of the building and people), but if you do, give us a call and we will be happy to give you a free consultation on how to go about moving your structure. Of course, to move a building over any road in the United States requires a building moving license, but if it is just being moved on site the owner can assume all risk. There are alternate ways to move a house from one place to another without using roads. If you would like to find out more, please view this informational video.
